✨ IC Community Weekly #18 (Libera Awards Special)
ft. the Libera Awards winners, Bandcamp's Juneteenth Fundraiser, new releases from Devendra Banhart, Holy Wave, Julia Jacklin and TEKE::TEKE, tour dates, industry events & more!
Hey and welcome to a bumper edition of IC Community Weekly!
It’s been a big couple of weeks for us here at IC:
We announced our new product IC Full Service, which gives small and mid-size catalogs the benefits of having a dedicated royalty accounting department on staff for a fraction of the time and cost and, like our beloved software, is priced to scale. Check out some of the positive press we’ve been getting over on Music Business Worldwide and Music Ally, amongst others, and see for yourself how IC Full Service works
Hunter took part in an A2IM Indie Week panel called Time To Start Collecting: Neighbouring Rights and How They Benefit Your Label, which was moderated by Luis Bonilla from SoundExchange and featured Jodie Ferneyhough from CCS Rights Management and Erik Veerman from Peermusic
The 12th annual Libera Awards wrapped Indie Week last night, with its biggest edition to date and we’re happy to report that not one but four of the five "Label of the Year (5 or fewer employees) nominees trust IC as their Royalty Accounting software (Don Giovanni, Fire Talk, Innovative Leisure, Topshelf)! But the winner on the night was… Innovative Leisure! Huge congrats to them! They weren’t the only IC customers who left with awards though, so massive shout outs as well to Label Of The Year (6-14 employees) winner Captured Tracks, Best Outlier Record winner (for Please Have a Seat) Nnamdï, who co-founded Sooper Records, and Best Classical Record winners Dawn Richard & Spencer Zahn for their album Pigments (on Merge). See a full list of winners here
Also check out a pic of a couple of us royalty nerds dressed in our finest here and our insta stories from the night here + keep scrolling to meet the newest IC catalogs, see new releases and signings, upcoming gigs, industry events, and more!

If you’re an IC catalog or creator and there’s anything you want to be sure we mention next time, just reply and let us know - this goes out to 2000+ inboxes every week!
BANDCAMP JUNETEENTH FUNDRAISER
There's no Bandcamp Friday in June (they return in August), instead they’re hosting a fundraiser for the NAACP Legal Defense Fund on Juneteenth, this coming Monday. They’ll be donating 100% of their rev share on any fan's purchases made on that day. If you’ve got something in your basket it’s the day to buy it and support the artists you love, while at the same time contributing to ongoing efforts to promote racial justice through litigation, advocacy, and public education.
