ft. Wild Nothing, Dizzy and Spencer Zahn, HUM re-issues, the A2IM mentor program, a Ratboys listening party, music videos, tour dates, industry events & more!

Hey and welcome to a new edition of IC Community Weekly!
In the week where events were held globally to honor Hip Hop’s 50th Anniversary, the IC community, as usual, released lots of great music.
Keep scrolling for that, but first, some general community news…
A2IM launched the 8th cycle of their mentor program, which will run between October 15th 2023 and March 31st 2024 and is taking applications until September 14th. The scheme is designed to grow members’ networks and foster personal and professional development between independent music executives across all career stages and comes IC-approved as it’s something we’ve taken part in ourselves and got a lot out of. Mentees/Mentors can apply here
Anyone wanting to respond to the AIM survey on AI and the Music Industry has until 6pm BST on Monday August 21st, ahead of a roundtable event with the UK government’s Department for Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) and UK Music, taking place next week.
