💿 Ari has been eyeing “meditative masterpiece” Matisse Bath by Marc Miller & Se Jong Cho, which was co-released by two labels: cow: Music & Astral Spirits.
💿 Christopher is looking to pick up L'Herbe de Détourne by French folk experimentalists Sourdurent, which was co-released by Murailles Music and Bongo Joe.
💿 Hunter has PINNED by C.A.R. from the crew over at Ransom Note in his sights, which sees the multi-talented Chloé Raunet refine her palette of glimmering electronics and post punk angles.
JOBS IN THE COMMUNITY
🧑💻 Mexican Summer are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager who will play a critical role in developing and executing innovative digital marketing and advertising strategies for the label’s releases.
They’re also on the look out for a new General Management intern, working directly under label management on all facets of the music label's operations and a Commercial Marketing intern, who will directly support their commercial team, working across physical retail and streaming marketing projects.

🎧 Polyvinyl released HELLMODE by Jeff Rosenstock, which is Stereogum’s album of the week and one Narc Magazine calls “playfully relentless and wonderfully wild”.
🎧 Kill Rock Stars released “a kaleidoscopic journey through our own minds and souls” in the form of Realms, the sophomore solo album of Cindy Wilson, revered founding member of new wave band The B-52's.
🎧 Silver Side Productions released Different Breed, the debut EP from Nashville-based singer-songwriter, Alaina Cross, in “…a project that showcases the boldest, most confident version of herself and her artistry yet.”
🎧 Merge released Jump For Joy, the new album by Durham, North Carolina folk band Hiss Golden Messenger - “their best yet” according to The Guardian.

🎧 Ramp Local released the new single by Tallahassee-based singer-songwriter Sarah Morrison, titled This Sorry Day. Taken from her forthcoming label debut Attachment Figure, it was was co-produced with Ross Brand and Clayton Rychlik, both longtime members of Of Montreal and Locate S,1:
🎧 Felte released Serenity’s Pit, the new single by Cupid & Psyche, an LA-based band made up of Michael Vidal and Juan Velasquez, two core members of Abe Vigoda:
PRE-ORDERS
🎧 Chapter Music announced the debut self-titled album by Australian duo Yirinda, a band made up of Fred Leone and Samuel Pankhurst. Fred is “… one of three Butchulla songmen – a song and language custodian for the Butchulla people from the Fraser Coast region of Queensland, including K’gari (formerly known as Fraser Island) and Samuel is “…an internationally acclaimed contrabassist/producer known for his kaleidoscopic harmonies and polyrhythmic mastery.” The album will released on black vinyl and digital on February 16th next year. It’s available for pre-order/pre-save and you can listen to first single from it, Yuangan (Dugong), now.
🎧 Propeller Sound Recordings announced that No Feet On The Cowling, the sole album by Athens, GA post-punk trio Mercyland and a "lost American underground classic" has been fully remixed and remastered by the band’s David Barbe (producer of nearly every album by Drive-By Truckers), who went back to the master tapes “…and was able to remix the album to the robust sonics that he intended it to be back in 1989.” Pre-order

NEW SIGNINGS
✍️ Joyful Noise welcomed visionary guitarist Marnie Stern to their roster! Her new album, The Comeback Kid, the follow-up to 2013’s The Chronicles of Marnia, is available everywhere November 3rd.
