✨ IC Community Weekly: New Connections
ft. a new Catalog Connections section, Your Heart Breaks ft. Kimya Dawson, Drugdealer, Annie Blackman, Ultra Q, Godcaster, Oceanator, Del Paxton, & more!
Hey and welcome to another IC Community Update, now in a regular Weekly format!
This former sub-section of the IC Digest (we’ll get back to those) has proven so popular + fun to put together that we’ve decided to do them in the style of the great alt weeklies of old, delivered to your inbox (most) Fridays.
So keep scrolling for new catalogs, releases, tours, shows and a brand new Catalog Connections section, and let us know if there’s something you want included next week!
NEW IC CATALOGS
We’re stoked to announce a couple new additions to the IC fam! They are:
🤝 SILLE Publishing is a publisher and synch pitching company who note “In an over-saturated industry filled with opportunists, aligning yourself with the right team makes all the difference.” We couldn’t agree more.
🤝 Discrepant is a record label founded in London in 2011 with the stated aim to “deconstruct, distort and re-assemble the lore of (un)popular music around the world”. A noble aim indeed.
CATALOG CONNECTIONS
Longtime IC catalog Beanie Tapes sent us the below to include in this newsletter!
Beanie Tapes is on a field trip from Oxford, UK to Brooklyn, NY to record Max Blansjaar’s album with Katie Von Schleicher producing. Drop Ben a line if you have tips for shows your artists are playing (before 5th April)!
We love the idea of helping catalogs connect, so please consider this an invitation to let us know if you’ll be hanging out in a new city, up to something we wouldn’t otherwise know about, or otherwise looking to connect with the community in some way.
E.g…. jobs?! Anyone hiring?!
